The Lamborghini Huracán STO (Super Trofeo Omologata) is the most track-focused iteration of Lamborghini’s naturally aspirated V10 supercar, bringing technology and engineering derived directly from the marque’s successful racing programme to a road-legal model. Created to celebrate Lamborghini’s 60th anniversary, the 2023 Huracán STO 60th Anniversary Edition combines the extreme character of the standard STO with exclusive styling details and commemorative touches.

Extensive use of carbon fibre is central to the STO’s design, most notably its distinctive ‘Cofango’, which combines the bonnet, front wings and bumper into a single lightweight panel. Inspired by Lamborghini’s Super Trofeo Evo race car, the STO also features a roof-mounted air intake, integrated ‘shark fin’, prominent adjustable rear wing and dedicated engine cover, all contributing to its aggressive appearance and aerodynamic performance.

The STO features three dedicated driving modes: STO for road driving, Trofeo for maximum track performance and Pioggia for wet conditions. Rear-wheel steering, Formula 1-inspired CCM-R carbon-ceramic brakes and a titanium roll bar further enhance its dynamic capabilities, while a racing-oriented telemetry system allows drivers to analyse their performance on circuit.

At its heart is Lamborghini’s 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10, producing 631hp and 417lb-ft of torque, delivered to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Capable of 0-62mph in just 3.0 seconds and a top speed of 192mph, the STO combines the instant response and character of a naturally aspirated V10 with the aerodynamic and chassis technology of a genuine racing car.
