2022 Lamborghini Huracan STO

The Lamborghini Huracán STO (Super Trofeo Omologato) is a track-focused variant of the contemporary Italian rear-wheel-drive supercar, which according to Lamborghini, delivers all the feel and technology of a genuine race car in a road-legal model. 

It has revised bodywork consisting mainly of carbon fibre, which includes Lamborghini’s Miura and Sesto Elemento-inspired ‘Cofango’; a unique design which blends the cofango (hood), parafango (fenders) and front bumper into a single carbon fibre panel. It also has a taller rear wing featuring a roof snorkel for improved engine cooling, an aerodynamic ‘shark fin’ connecting the roof snorkel with the rear wing, an engine cover reminiscent of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Evo race cars, and a small compartment for storing race equipment. 

The STO comes with three new driving modes; ‘STO’ for road driving, ‘Trofeo’ for track driving and ‘Pioggia’ for wet weather driving. It has rear-wheel steering, Formula 1-inspired CCM-R carbon ceramic brakes, a titanium roll bar, a racing-oriented telemetry system and bucket seats. 

In STO guise, the Huracán’s 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 produces 631hp and 417 lb ft of torque, the same as the Performante and Evo variants. It can launch from 0-62 mph in three seconds, before reaching a top speed of 192 mph.
