The Ferrari F12 TDF is a limited production, track focused evolution of the F12 Berlinetta, inspired by Ferrari’s dominance in the Tour de France automobile races of the 1950s and 1960s. Introduced in 2015, the F12 TDF combines enhanced performance, extensive weight-saving measures and motorsport-derived technology, with production limited to just 799 examples worldwide.
At its heart is a 6.3-litre naturally aspirated V12 producing 769bhp and 705Nm of torque, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Capable of accelerating from 0-62mph in just 2.9 seconds and reaching a top speed exceeding 211mph, the F12 TDF delivers extraordinary performance with the immediacy and soundtrack of a high-revving Ferrari V12.
Extensive engineering revisions include a lighter crankshaft, revised intake system and titanium connecting rods, alongside larger brakes, increased downforce and a wider track. Ferrari’s innovative Virtual Short Wheelbase system introduces rear-wheel steering, improving agility and responsiveness, while extensive carbon-fibre components and other weight-saving measures reduce mass by approximately 110kg compared with the standard F12 Berlinetta.
Visually, the F12 TDF is distinguished by its wider bodywork, enlarged air intakes, sculpted rear wings and aggressive aerodynamic package. Inside, lightweight trim and a driver-focused cockpit reinforce its competition-inspired character.
The Ferrari F12 TDF represents one of the last great front-engined, naturally aspirated V12 Ferraris, combining exceptional performance, advanced chassis technology and genuine rarity. Its motorsport-inspired development and limited production make it one of the most sought-after modern Ferrari berlinettas.
