Sales Manager

This fantastic opportunity will suit a candidate with at least five years of experience working in a similar role within the automotive industry.

Duties of the role will include:

  • Lead, Train and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and dealership sales targets
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue and growth
  • Oversee stock level and pricing in accordance with market trends
  • Monitor sales performance, prepare reports and recommend necessary improvements
  • Manage customer relations, resolve issues and ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with necessary departments to streamline the sales process and improve cross-department efficiency
  • Provide exceptional aftersales support and maintain long term, trustworthy customer relationships
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity and new product launches
  • Ensure complience with our dealership policies
  • General day-to-day duties within the office

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Five years proven experience as a sales manager or in a senior sales role within the automotive industry
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Solid understanding of automotive financing and dealership operations
  • Excellent negotiation, problem solving and customer service abilities
  • Prior experience with luxury cars
  • An ambition to drive sales and extend growth
  • Strong written & communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge & interest for cars
  • Ability to work on their own initiative in a fast paced, goal orientated environment
  • Full, clean drivers licence
  • Able to commute to Orpington, Kent
