2020 Lamborghini Huracan Evo

Description

Key Points: PPF Applied To Whole Car, Lamborghini Warranty 4th Year, Lifting System with Magneto-Rheological Suspension.

The Lamborghini Huracán received a mid-cycle update in 2019, including a name change to the Huracán Evo. It now shares its engine and much of its technology with the Performante variant.

The updated version of the Huracán has a more aggressive design, whereby the new front bumper has integrated aeroblades for improved downforce, and the rear styling has followed in the footsteps of the Performante, featuring the same diffuser, exhaust pipe position and radiators. A new ducktail spoiler is also fitted.

Its mid-mounted Performante-specification 5.2-litre V10 produces 631 hp and 443 lb ft of torque, and drives all four wheels through the seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The exhaust system is more refined and there are new titanium intake valves, allowing the car to achieve a 0–60 mph acceleration time of 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 202 mph. The car has a braking distance from 62–0 mph of 104 ft (32 m).

The Huracán Evo has rear-wheel steering for improved handling, and a new torque vectoring system. The drive modes (Strada, Sport and Corsa) can be changed at will, as well as automatically via a predictive ‘feed forward’ logic system called Lamborghini Dynamic Vehicle Integration (LDVI), which works by monitoring the lateral, longitudinal and vertical accelerations, as well as roll, pitch and yaw rate to predict the most appropriate setting.

The cabin features a revised 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, dubbed the Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata, which features both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and works in conjunction with the digital dials.
