2002 Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R M-Spec 2.6

Description

The R34 Nissan GT-R is arguably the most iconic JDM sports car ever made. In 1999 when it was first released, the R34 followed an incredible lineage of Skylines, from the original skyline GT-R made in 1969 to the R32 and R33 from the late 80s through the 90s. As soon as the R34 was released, it was an instant classic, from the styling, the performance, and of course, to the now universally beloved RB26 DETT engine.

The 2.6-litre twin-turbo inline-six was advertised as producing 276bhp however most tests revealed well over 300bhp when it left the factory. This superb power plant was coupled with an engaging 6-speed Getrag manual transmission and an incredibly technologically advanced 4-wheel-drive system. These components combined with the large rear spoiler and the carbon fibre diffuser under the car, the R34 was able to complete a lap around the Nurburgring Nordschleife in just 7 minutes and 52 seconds, setting a new production car lap record at the time.

This M-Spec model featured all the performance of the R34 you would expect, only now with extra added comfort from the full leather heated seats, privacy glass, cold weather package, and the softer M-Spec suspension.

This particular model also includes a plethora of period-correct modifications that make the driving even more special. From the Nismo Weldina NE-1 Exhaust System, letting the glorious sound of the RB26 DETT sing without being too loud and ruining the sophisticated experience the M-Spec provides. A Nismo Air Inlet Pipe coupled with a Nismo Air Filter and R-Tune Air Cleaner Duct letting the engine breathe more freely. A Nismo Oil Separator and a Kenwood Double Din Touchscreen Head Unit to give a modern touch to the interior.
