The Audi RS6 Performance Carbon Vorsprung represents the pinnacle of the RS6 lineup, serving as a high-performance estate that balances brutal power with ultimate luxury. This specific model features the ‘Performance’ upgrade, which pushes the power output of the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 to a massive 621bhp and 626lb-ft of torque. Supported by a 48V mild-hybrid (MHEV) system, the engine benefits from improved efficiency and smoother operation, including coasting capability and refined stop-start functionality. It also features cylinder-on-demand technology, allowing it to run on fewer cylinders under light loads to conserve fuel.
This immense power allows the car to launch from 0-62 mph in just 3.4 seconds, aided by a re-tuned self-locking centre differential and Audi’s rear-biased quattro all-wheel-drive system, which can send up to 85% of torque to the rear wheels for a more dynamic driving experience. The addition of a sport differential further enhances agility by actively distributing torque between the rear wheels during cornering. Handling is sharpened further with standard all-wheel steering, improving low-speed manoeuvrability and high-speed stability, while adaptive air suspension delivers a broad range between comfort and performance. Configurable RS1 and RS2 modes allow drivers to tailor and instantly access personalised performance settings.
The Carbon Vorsprung trim is the most comprehensive specification available. Visually, it is defined by a matte or gloss carbon fibre exterior styling package that applies the lightweight material to the front spoiler, side flaps, door mirror housings and rear diffuser. It also includes 22-inch lightweight forged alloy wheels and HD Matrix LED headlights with Audi laser light, giving it an aggressive and high-tech road presence. Carbon-ceramic brakes are also included, offering exceptional stopping power, resistance to fade under heavy use, and reduced unsprung weight.
