2024 Aston Martin DB12 Volante
Description
Key Points: Inspire Comfort Interior Environement in Light Duotone, Premium Onyx Black Paint
The Aston Martin DB12 is a refined British grand tourer, unveiled in May 2023 at the Cannes Film Festival as the replacement for the DB11. Having been restyled with inspiration from
the DBS, it features a larger radiator grille, wider track widths, new LED headlights, and a redesigned interior featuring an all-new infotainment system with both Android Auto and
Apple CarPlay. There’s now a full suite of driver assistance systems, including adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, traffic sign recognition, 360-degree cameras and blind spot
monitoring.
In open-top Volante form, it has an eight-layer fabric roof which can open and close in 16 seconds, at speeds of up to 31 mph. With stiffened suspension mounts and a new engine
cross brace, the DB12 Volante is claimed to have 5% more torsional rigidity than the convertible DB11, and can accelerate from 0-62 mph in 3.7 seconds before reaching a top
speed of 202 mph (the same as the DB12 coupe).
Under the bonnet is a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged ‘M177’ V8, producing 671bhp and 590 lb ft of torque, driving the rear wheels through an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission with paddle shift.
