2021 Bentley Continental GT V8

Description

Key Points: Paint Protection Film (PPF) Applied To Whole Car, Mulliner Driving Specification, Carbon Fibre Exterior Specification.

The third-generation Bentley Continental GT was unveiled at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. Compared to the second-generation Continental GT, it features a lighter body, an extended wheelbase, a 48-volt roll-control system and a significant interior overhaul including an industry-first rotating display.

The Continental GT is the first production car ever to have an entire body side made from the Super Formed process; a precision technique using aluminium which allows more complex, sharply defined body lines. Unlike prior models, the panels are "superformed" with heated aluminium sheets moulded by gas instead of a stamp.

The V8 variant of the Continental GT was introduced in 2019, with a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged engine that produces 542 hp and 568 lb ft of torque, paired with Porsche’s eight-speed PDK automatic transmission with paddle shift. The car can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds and is capable of reaching a top speed of 198 mph.
