Key Points: Paint Protection Film (PPF), Arancio Atlas Exterior Paint, Carbon Fibre Backed Bucket Seats.
The Lamborghini Aventador SuperVeloce (SV) is a high-performance track-focused supercar, limited to only 600 units. It is powered by a naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 producing 740hp, driving all four wheels through a seven-speed Independent Shifting Rod (ISR) single-clutch automated manual transmission.
Designed with a focus on weight reduction and enhanced aerodynamics, the SV has a kerb weight of approximately 1,525 kg due to the extensive use of carbon-fibre, while downforce is increased by 180% over the standard car. It can sprint from 0-62 mph in 2.8 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 217mph.
The SV features a lightweight carbon-fibre monocoque with aluminum front and rear frames. The underside is home to magnetorheological push-rod suspension with adaptive dampers, which adjust to road conditions and driving modes, while stopping power comes from a set of carbon-ceramic brakes. Aggressive aerodynamic elements include a redesigned front splitter, a large rear diffuser, and a manually adjustable fixed carbon-fibre rear wing.
The cabin boasts Alcantara-trimmed carbon fibre-backed bucket seats, as well as a digital instrument panel with a G-force monitor, a central infotainment system with navigation, dual-zone climate control, keyless go, a reversing camera, and lightweight fabric door pulls.
